WPT launches 5th anniversary

(Nasdaq:WPTE), today announced that the television premiere of the World Poker Tour®'s (WPT) fifth anniversary season will launch Wednesday, April 4 at 9pm ET/PT on the Travel Channel(TM) with The Mirage Poker Showdown kicking off the new season.

Delivering an exciting new poker experience for the landmark season, the WPT will introduce a bold new look, a new hostess, new specials, all-new action, and a new crop of WPT Poker-Made Millionaires(TM). Season V marks a major milestone for the WPT, which to date has awarded over $300 million in prize money, created almost 70 WPT Poker-Made Millionaires(TM), added 13 casino partners to a growing global roster, and licensed its show to air in over 150 countries and territories worldwide.
