Zitro achieves major milestone in carbon footprint reduction

(PRESS RELEASE) -- In 2021, Zitro set itself the ambitious goal of reducing its carbon footprint by 80%. The company has not only achieved this target but exceeded it by achieving a further 50% reduction by 2022. This reduction has been made possible by investing in the renewal of all IT equipment to make its offices more efficient and environmentally friendly.

Zitro’s commitment to sustainability is not limited to reducing its carbon footprint. The company has also made a major effort to switch to renewable energies. 100% of the electricity consumption at the Barcelona technology campus now comes from renewable sources.

The company’s achievement of the ISO 14064-1 certification sets a new benchmark in the gaming industry for sustainability and environmental responsibility.
