Touchpoints Marketing and Advertising, is a female owned marketing and advertising agency made up of former casino executives and employees in many of the key roles. It was born in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and its founding employees were specialists in Casino Marketing, Casino Advertising, Human Resources and Accounting. As such, we know casinos. Speed to market is critical–typically properties respond to a down week or in some cases, even a bad weekend. Casino Marketing Departments are stretched to the limit and quite often understaffed. To this end, we’ve grown Touchpoints to be a one-stop full service resource for the casino properties we work with.
At Touchpoints, we cater almost exclusively to casinos and have worked with properties from Nevada to rural Indiana, and everywhere in between.
We took three dissimilar properties named Boomtown and created one cohesive brand that works from Reno, Nevada to Bossier City and New Orleans, Louisiana and translated the messages into multiple languages. We did the same thing again with the Gila River properties in Phoenix except, instead of Vietnamese or Chinese we had an English and Spanish marketing approach.

Traditional media buying capabilities, execution and maintenance:
Touchpoints’ media planners and buyers have worked with a wide variety of accounts across the Country. They have experience in planning and buying for all forms of media such as radio, television, print, outdoor and online.
The media department formulates a comprehensive media plan detailing the best possible strategy for the dollars available. They utilize tools such as the media buying software program SmartPlus, Arbitron and Nielsen ratings data, and Qualitap to access Scarborough research for qualitative, to analyze the effectiveness of all media and provide our clients with a media plan that produces results.
Once a plan is approved, the buyer then activates the plan, negotiating for best rate, best position and a minimum of 10-15% added value (based on yearly budget).
After placement of media schedules, Touchpoints will then coordinate the trafficking of the all creative. Once schedules are complete an audit is conducted to ensure that all spots and ads ran as ordered. Post buys are also done on all broadcast television schedules to ensure that the stations delivered the rating points based on industry standards.

Ben Gravolet is on Touchpoints staff as our Vice President of Creative and Strategy and he is available to consult at your casino property.
Ben started his marketing career first as a catalog merchant and then as a copywriter, art director and direct mail consultant before joining the gaming industry more than fifteen years ago as Director of Marketing at Boomtown Casino New Orleans. Ben’s experience also includes becoming an advertising agency Creative Director by the age of 24. While with Pinnacle Entertainment, Ben spent nine years as Senior Director of Marketing with Boomtown Casino in New Orleans and eventually oversaw the marketing operations of both the New Orleans property and Casino Magic in Biloxi, Mississippi. During Ben’s tenure Boomtown rose to the top riverboat casino in the State of Louisiana and Casino Magic met both its top line and bottom line revenue goals.
Ben was also the creator of Pinnacle’s former in-house advertising agency, The PNK Agency and he was sent to all of Pinnacle’s markets to assist properties in reaching their marketing objectives and troubleshoot marketing and advertising problems.
Ben is a multiple direct marketing award-winner who has been interviewed as an authority in his field by Charles Bierbauer on CNN and called, “The true warrior in the marketing fight” by American Demographics Magazine. Ben has also been a featured speaker at Raving’s Indian Gaming and Casino Marketing Conferences.
Ben has also been the creator of Loyalty and direct mail programs that have become the industry standard and his knowledge of casino promotions is second to none. While with Touchpoints he has created some of the most innovative casino promotions in the gaming industry.
