Casino City releases 2015 Global Gaming Almanac

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Casino City Press announces the release of the 2015 edition of Casino City’s Global Gaming Almanac, which provides 772 pages of comprehensive, up-to-date market summaries, financial data, statistics and profiles of properties, owners and regulators for 216 international gaming jurisdictions.

Casino City’s Global Gaming Almanac includes current and historical gaming revenue charts and tables based on data collected from regulatory agencies and commissions around the world, where available. According to the Almanac, the number of gaming devices reported worldwide grew slightly at 1.95% as compared with last year’s edition, with the count increasing from an estimated 2,918,290 to 2,975,353 gaming devices. The increase in worldwide machine counts occurred despite a small decrease in the number of gaming facilities globally, which shrank by 0.02% from an estimated 226,824 to 221,913 facilities.

Casino City’s Global Gaming Almanac also provides market summaries and statistics for each segment of the industry including casino and card room gaming, race wagering, sports betting, commercial bingo, lotteries, charitable gaming and online gaming. Also provided are counts and distribution of gaming properties, devices and tables, and an overview of the current and historical regulatory environment, pending legislation, and major trends.
