White Sand Gaming Enterprises launched

LAS VEGAS -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- WhiteSand Consulting -- the gaming industry's most trusted professional services firm -- introduces WhiteSand Gaming Enterprises, a new company focused on the acquisition and operation of casino hotel resorts.

The gaming veterans who comprise WhiteSand Gaming Enterprises have provided hands-on assistance with the many tasks associated with new and established casino projects, including opening and operating budgets, site design, staffing, marketing and technology. The WhiteSand team has played a key role in the successful opening of new casino hotels and casino racetracks in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, California, Iowa, Indiana, Louisiana and Australia.

Saverio Scheri, President and CEO, says, "Our approach to casino management is fee-based, allowing for both short- and long-term contracts. Short-term contracts have allowed us to help casinos turn things around and improve performance in just a matter of a few months; on long-term development projects, we have been there every step of the way, assisting with planning and operation, both pre- and post-opening, for casino resort operations of every size."

WhiteSand Gaming Enterprises can be especially beneficial to Indian casinos, Scheri says. "Our novel approach to casino management allows us to introduce a full team to assist with Marketing, IT, HR, Finance, Casino Operations and General Management for as little as three months or as long as needed. Because WhiteSand Gaming approaches these opportunities as fee-based, there is no need for a long-term management contract that typically is funded through top-line revenues."

Among the properties that have already benefited from WhiteSands' services is Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, a Native American casino near Palm Springs, Calif., that is one of the most profitable casinos in the country. WhiteSand provided temporary management services for seven months, running all aspects of the operation in preparation for a major expansion of the AAA 4-diamond rated resort.
